FAQ
Q. How does the selection process work?
Generally the core selection process encompasses face to face
interview and on selective basis, assessment exercises. Typically,
you will be contacted for a first interview by an HR representative.
After the first interview, if you are successful, a second
interview will be arranged usually with the immediate manager
for the position and /or other colleagues whom the job incumbent
need to collaborate closely. The department head responsible
for the specific function may also be involved as well. It
is a common practice that candidates will need to meet with
managers of various functions in addition to its own line
of management. Depending on the position, different types
of assessments such as aptitude test, case studies and presentations
maybe applied. In the selection process, we do not only focus
on what the position requires in terms of competencies and
the candidate's fit, we also focus on what the candidate expects
and wants. We view this process as a "marriage"
in that we try to make sure that both the company and candidate
fit and like each other . We encourage our candidates to share
their expectations with us and ask questions they are interested
to know about during the selection process in order to get
an idea of the bigger picture.
