Q. What kind of career development program does MSD AP provide
to their employees?
.We offer many different types of experiences in order to
help people develop their potential to the fullest extent
and gain the maximum amount of development. This includes
project work, developmental assignments, exposure and rotational
positions, overseas posting and leading project teams, to
name just a few. In addition, we have a comprehensive Merck
Leadership Training curriculum comprising of various modules
for meeting different training needs across employees of different
levels. There are also opportunities for "class room"
training and courses which are catered to your position within
the company.
We also have a process in place to identify and assess "future
leaders" for the company.. We scout nominate for people
who display the potential to be excellent leaders within our
organisation based on a set of core competency and design
a development plan for the individual. The individual is then
assigned a sponsor who is responsible for helping to execute
the plan and support the development of the individual to
their full capacity.
